Our Good Day

I do consider every day is a good day for a number of reasons but if I have to take one out to be our good day would be in Puerto Rico with my family.  It was probably the year 2017 I returned to Puerto Rico from Pennsylvania and I was glad to see everybody, and it felt nice to be back. Me and dad usually go every year go to this massive auto show located in the Hiram Bithron baseball stadium located in Bayamon Puerto Rico (north side). I absolutely love to walk this parkway due to the amazing builds and supercars or just the cars in general being their unique way.

One day my family and I ( mom, dad and my siblings)  were at “Plaza las Americas” it Is the biggest shopping mall and activity center in all of the Caribbean and  the stadium was literally across the street  and going back to our car we saw huge tarps and cars just entering the stadium parking lot. Dad turn around and tells me “Angel do you want to go over there with me?” I responded, “I absolutely do” (this is not exactly the dialogue, but it is close to the actual) “Hey Angel why don’t you check out how much the entries cost” Dad asked. I went and checked, and it was just $5 per kid and $15 for adults. Me my parents and siblings went in and I felt I was in paradise, all those cars from the 50’s thru 2017 first look cars coming up next year. It was so nice to see all those cars. My mom and siblings went to the food trucks to eat ( unpopular opinion food trucks are the bomb) and me and my dad went to see something that cached our eye it was a Toyota tarp it was old cars left and right one of them was old as my dad. Two of them that really stood out the most was a 1972 Toyota Land Cruiser and a 1967 Toyota 2000gt. “The Land Cruiser…I miss that car so much but I know soon I will have it back” Dad told me while looking at it, I replied, “ I remember the one time you took us to school on that thing and yours was as tall as a truck.” He just laughed and we continued to see old corollas and once we exited the tent we saw Nissan’s, Ferrari’s Lambo’s you name it. Definitely one of our good days with the family, one to remember.
