Journal Two
My name is Logan Cauthen, I'm 19 years old and went to Pleasant High School. Winter is coming up and it's my favorite season because I get to ski. I started skiing two years ago with my two friends. We always ski in Ohio but this January we are going to a ski resort in New York. I work a part-time job at Kroger. I also help coach soccer.
In the house on Mango Street, Esperanza knew she was very poor. Her family didn't have a lot of money and was living in an apartment. She knew all the disadvantages of being poor. She realizes that her family is still bonded tightly together ands it's not all about money to make you happy.
