In the book callings so far, it makes me feel happy to see how people find genuine happiness in the professions and jobs they felt like they were made or passionate to do. It’s really important that you find something you love and be able to monetize it due to how the world is moving  but not necessarily you have to make money in order to be successful, as longest you have that passion on what you’re doing that is what happiness is. It is something that little population of people had been able to achieve that point in their lives. Never live to work, work to live.

My two favorites would be John Heyn the street corner astronomer and Dr. Laura retired physician. Both had their callings in stated professions in which they find themselves. One of the comparisons in which both have is that Laura’s was generational and passed down in a sense and perfected it to have a more one to one dynamic with her patients whereas John found his calling when he was in eighth grade and ever since then he felt fascinated by astronomy. The main and big comparison in shorter terms is that Laura was generational and John it was something that was introduced to him and then grew it to fruition. Either way people find their callings in their own ways.

I think I could use and relate with both and I’ll explain why. Ever since I was a kid, I really loved cars as of right now I still do, there’s always a special place in my soul for them. There’s also the medicine aspect in which allows me to help people in the most effective way possible and create ties with patients just as Laura does. To me as I was raised money should never be the reason you’re working, it has to be if you feel passionate about it. I can use my father as an example, he became a doctor and I was fascinated about a deeper look on medicine and how he treated his patients as they were family, how he knew about them and their lives and always his ethic with the patients always excelled. It’s always making sure you’re absolutely in love with your profession and if you are, you’ll be able to become happy and that nothing and nobody will ever take that away from you.

Modern Lancia Stratos turns out to be Pininfarina-designed one-off

The two Lancia stratos the Red one is a legendary one due to how uneasy it is to drive, was the top of the rally class at the time. The black one is derived of a 2008 Ferrari F-430 where everything was stripped and the chassis was cut by 23cm and made as almost as the stratos glory days.

Stunning replica JW Automotive Porsche 917 - Drive

This is a Porsche 917, participated in the famous Le Mans 24hr race, this car indeed has a racing history and good rankings in which can be compared by any modern supercar. This car 0-60 in 2.5 seconds and has capabilities of reaching 221 mph, that's as much as the newest GT2 RS, quite impressive. One mind boggling thing is that this car when Porsche was booming was the one that almost put them in bankruptcy.

The Rise of Evidence-Based Psychiatry - Scientific American Blog Network

This image I found it quite fascinating because that is where I want specialize myself at and the fact that there's a mechanic in the bottom ties with what I really wanna become which is helping people to feel better within their minds and tinkering around cars too.

(Apologize for the long LONG paper I just nerd out with the cars)

  1. Could not agree more really have to have a drive for the career that you will pursue later in life. Weather you stumble upon it or are "born into it" most will find there passion and hopefully stick with it. Really like the Lancia rally cars I personally love the Audi sport Quattro S1 from the 1980's rally era. I also love the Le Mans Porscha 917 but again I love ford so the 1966 Ford GT MK2 and GT40 will always hold special places in my heart. Always glad to see you posts Angel.
